At MovementUP, we believe every student and educator has the potential to rise—and we’re here to help them do just that. We are dedicated to providing engaging and relevant student enrichment services and transformative professional development training that leaves a lasting impact. Our work empowers students to take control of their lives and equips educators with the tools to connect, inspire, and lead with purpose.

MovementUP currently partners with Chilton ISD, serving all three campuses—elementary, middle, and high school—where we provide:

Student Enrichment Services: Dynamic assemblies, small-group mentoring, and consistent positive engagement that motivates and empowers students.

Leadership Team Trainings: Equipping campus leaders with practical strategies to strengthen collaboration, self-awareness, and community impact.

Educator Professional Development & Coaching: Transformative training sessions combined with one-on-one coaching for educators who want to deepen their skills and extend their impact beyond the classroom.

Our student enrichment services have been described as “engaging,” “inspiring,” and “very motivational,” while our professional development trainings are recognized as “relevant,” “transformative,” “insightful,” and “powerful.” Through our partnership model, we don’t just deliver services—we become a consistent, positive presence that supports your campus vision and enhances your school’s culture.

Our training is grounded in Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and is TBRI®-informed, aligning with best practices to foster connection, trust, and meaningful growth. We don’t just provide information—we deliver insightful, practical tools that educators can immediately apply to create a positive and supportive learning environment. The goal of MovementUP PD trainings is to equip educators and administrators with the tools to connect and help students feel seen, feel safe, and feel supported.

Over the years, MovementUP has engaged, equipped, and inspired thousands of youth across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. We’ve worked with schools, colleges, youth prisons, group homes, churches, and other youth-service organizations—bringing messages of hope, empowerment, and transformation everywhere we go.

At the heart of MovementUP is Ahmad Washington. Ahmad Washington is a national speaker, award-winning community leader, and the visionary behind MovementUP—an organization that partners with schools, residential programs, and youth-service organizations to deliver transformational student enrichment and professional development.

A proud former Baylor University football player, Ahmad holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work, as well as a Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary. With over two decades of experience in residential childcare, education, and ministry, he brings a unique blend of lived experience, clinical insight, and creative communication that sets him apart as a speaker and trainer.

Ahmad’s work has earned widespread recognition: he received the CORE Award for Hope for the hope he brings to children, youth, and families; was honored as an award-winning community leader; and was featured in several magazines for his impactful work in Waco and surrounding communities. Under his leadership, MovementUP was named Community Partner of the Year by Chilton ISD, where the organization currently serves all three campuses with dynamic student assemblies, mentoring, leadership team training, and educator coaching.

Grounded in Social Emotional Learning and TBRI® (Trust-Based Relational Intervention), Ahmad’s approach is trauma-informed, practical, and immediately impactful. His sessions consistently receive praise as “transformative,” “relevant,” and “powerful.”

Also known by his artist name, A.H.M.A.D.D., he uses positive hip-hop and storytelling to connect with students in a way that is both relatable and empowering—reinforcing messages of identity, purpose, and personal responsibility.
Whether in schools, group homes, youth prisons, or churches, Ahmad’s mission remains the same: to help young people and those who serve them rise with purpose, resilience, and hope.

At MovementUP, we’re not just a service—we’re a partner in your school’s success. Our commitment is to help your campus become a place where students and educators rise together, achieving academic excellence while fostering a culture of care and empowerment.
