MovementUP is a movement dedicated to educating children and youth thru entertainment. MovementUP is based in Central Texas and utilizes edutaining music with age appropriate content and modern urban music production. MovementUP artist A.H.M.A.D.D. along with other artists on the roster have been described as “engaging, entertaining, inspiring, and informative for both students and adults.”
MovementUP has a new music project targeting elementary school age students. Our artist A.H.M.A.D.D. has been having a number of school assemblies on various subject matters at elementary schools. During the course of this tour A.H.M.A.D.D. has noticed that in an effort to connect with students some schools have been playing music before his school assemblies that are laced with content that both overtly and covertly promote drug use, promiscuous behavior and other things that we don't want our elementary students exposed to. In an effort to stir up the innocence and wonder in our bright young elementary school minds, MovementUP is releasing an EP called “The Wonder Years”. MovementUP booking is currently reaching out to elementary schools primarily in the Central Texas area to schedule school assemblies to share this edutaining music with as many elementary school students as possible.
MovementUP has been engaging, equipping, inspiring, and motivating thousands of youth in various schools, colleges, youth prisons, group homes, churches, and other youth service based organizations in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Pheonix, and California. Artist A.H.M.A.D.D. of MovementUP has released and performed music from his school focused music cd entitled “The Substitute”. The lead single “WorkHard Grades Up” was also accompanied by a fun and impactful music video that got a lot of positive attention from the media. A.H.M.A.D.D. graduated from Baylor University with a BA in Social Work, a Master in Social Work and a Master of Divinity. He highly values education and knows the importance of relevant engagement with students to help them understand the value of education in improving their lives, their families, their communities, this nation, and this world.
With the release of “The Wonder Years” music project MovementUP wants to visit as many elementary schools as possible. MovementUP has been working tirelessly to connect with elementary schools primarily in Central texas to determine what their campus needs are and to customize school assemblies that address these themes using music and engaging, entertaining, and educational school assemblies. If you are interested in knowing what MovementUP can do for your campus, or if your interested in booking MovementUP please contact us via the contact page on this website.
